Welcome! International award winning author and design journalist Carol Soucek King invites you to join her as she explores, through her books and her monthly salons, the spiritually creative life. Dr.
King lives in Pasadena, California, where she has established The
Institute of Philosophy & the Arts, an interdisciplinary forum
created to inspire uplifted thought through a deepened awareness of
universal interconnectedness. Under the auspices of the Institute,
a salon on "The Spiritually Creative Life" is held the second
Sunday of each month at her home. Also under the auspices of the
Institute, The Painting Society of Arroyo del Rey has been established
to enable artists to set up their easels at her home's natural arroyo setting on the
